In 2011, Becker’s growth allowed them to take safety measures to the next level. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was invited to step in and in 2014 Becker Iron & Metal received SHARP safety status, “It was unbelievable to go from [minimal safety] to being recognized by the state of Illinois as a safety winner.”
